12 Year Silence is Washburn's debut album as Caramel Carousel, a vivid, dreamy encapsulation of his life from 2001 to 2025. Delivered with a raw, magnetic sense of urgency, Gavin fuses rock, pop, and country with a carelessness that's intoxicating and familiar. He leans into sex, drugs, and rock and roll with an ease and allure that's honest and "complete". Tight production, emotion and unapologetic passion define his musings of decadence and despair.
